HOPELESS AVOIDANCE ©

A man of great power
Lived in stable times
Where laws of intellect of emotion
Equaled growth worth a dime
Growth they could find
Growth they could see
Growth they could control
While letting it be

Because real growth cannot happen
Every tick of the clocks we watch
Like a fault line building friction
Revolutions swiftly appear
Resetting the balance
Temporary restoration
Without the need for fear

And these births of snapped pressure
Spell the composition of evil eras
Where instinct over intellect
Finally transpires
Just and employee of growth
That will never be fired

Denying the problems
As they form
Like a uni student
Procrastinating due reports
Only to find
In one way
That three a due
The next day

Then fear, anxiety, terror and panic
Rise in his head
And the time of forced growth
Becomes something he dreads

So these evil eras
Are forced on ourselves
As our defensive mechanisms
Snap in the heat

Defensive mechanisms
Like ‘there is plenty of time’
Defensive mechanisms
Like ‘it will be done’
Defensive mechanisms
Like ‘it’s not that important’
Defensive mechanisms
Like ‘other things need to be done’

Defensive mechanisms
Designed to protect
Defensive mechanisms
A form of entropy
Defensive mechanisms
There to hide the truth
When all they create are times
Of panic and frustration

Because the truth starts in a walk
And ends in a run
Always going to catch us
No matter how much
We run or hide
The truth will ensue

QUESTION TO BE TRUE ©

‘There is smoke in their words
There is emotion in their eyes’

Am I talking about politicians?
Or those incongruous religious lies?
Or even the local fire brigade?
Or maybe attempted profit from false cries?

But the point of those few lines
Was to show to you
That ones interpretation
Depends on their personal view
So when and if you call me a pessimist
We know it’s you own view
Because everything I claim ‘n’ say
Has underlying good
Only covered in negative dew
And if you cannot see
Beyond the negative face
Then you are the cynic
Who requires embracing grace
For my soul is pure
I do not accept what I choose
Though I may be wrong
I do not engage in selective truth

So you can render me blind
And claim what I say is untrue
As long as your beliefs are not blind obedience
And you truly believe what you do

Cause to truly believe
Is to question why?
Prepare for the conflict
To reach a fulfilling life
Or you can go through life
Letting questions occasionally slip
Using defensive mechanisms
To maintain a false grip
Too afraid to accept what’s true
Never really becoming a part of gods crew

Because a negative mind
Will develop more than most
Reaching acceptance through conflict
Thus enabling more growth

But maybe the day will come
When I will believe in religious times
Though for now
Time is my god
For the answers lye behind
So too the ability
To truly be sublime

FIRST STEP ©

Somewhere in the conversation
I lost site of my aspiration
Put on the defensive by quick judgment
Before I can say what I think

Using a series of manipulative probes
We deny the sender to choose the flow
Creating a pointless exercise
Just because we want to be right
But I do not want to be right
I want to be wrong
So unlike many others
I can learn to get along

But I am not perfect
Not one hundred percent sublime
This I will admit
The first step to getting it right

PREJUDICE ©

The base of evil drawn deep from within
Inhibits the growth of others
Cause we want to win

Wanting all people
To believe what we do
Yet were so proud
To be called an individual
Fighting over trivia
Like words, looks and beliefs
When from under this trivial blanket
Crawls justified warfare
Instead of peace

Our expectations of others
Usually come true
Cause the power of the human mind
Most are oblivious too
And because there is no truth
Our beliefs are all right
It solely depends
On which way your unconscious
Perceives the light
And unless you ask
Someone to hold you up
You cannot get dropped in the dirt
So it’s our attitude of others
Words ‘n’ beliefs
That decides the fact of our hurt

It’s the actions falsely accepted
By our beliefs
Which cause friendship welfare
To snap in the heat

So believe what you want
And believe it round me
But do not let your actions
Resemble tyranny leaves on the tree
Cause this tree that has matured
Like a thorn in our side
Like weeds in our garden
Like saw dust in our eyes
Can die slowly if we pick off its leaves
Chocking its remainders so it cannot breath

But I do not have all the answers
I am as fallible as you
Though understanding there is no truth
Make peace what I want to choose
And understanding
The truth is all in our heads
Begins the birth
Of putting prejudice to bed

GLOBAL THINKING ©

With the future fast approaching
The majority predicting doom
With so many world problems
The issues we know choose

From credit card humans
To insidious disease
From world pollution
To growing nutritional needs
The technological explosion
Ready to seize control
Separation from nature
Our scientist main goal

But what is their worth?
A leaf on a tree
A page in a book
A fish in the sea
And now I ask
Why fight every leave?
Why not attack the roots?
A solution simple to see

World population
Reaching unsustainable heights
World population
The cause of most of our fights
And if we do not cut back
Our lord nature will force us too
Two ways to achieve
What the future must do

Progress should no longer be catering
For growing population
Let us use our intelligence
To create fun living nations

With inventions just reflections
Of easier solutions to control
With occasional exceptions
The real beauty in the soul

Let us lower world population
That is the key to self-appointed salvation
It may not save us in the l-o-n-g run
But if we proceed
Ensuing wars
Can be won

WHAT’S THE PRICE? ©

You come in
You live
And you die
What’s the price of your life?

We need the bed
Others need the bed
You cannot have the bed
What’s the price of your life?

Build more hospitals
Now lets create life
Not willing to repair
So join the list
We will bring you bliss
But ask yourself this
What’s the price?
What’s the price of your life?

Microcosmic fashion
Our future lives may be
If you evaluate the future
Then you will see
The need for change
Is at opportunities door
And if we do not take it
We surely shall fall

THAT’S JUST HOW IT IS ©

I am an immature adolescent
Responsible for my own actions
But thank-you for those laws
That protect me from myself
Cause if I did not have them
I would self inflict ill health

And thank-you for the lies
Rather than simple education
Now there’s only ensuing torpid rebellion
Timing its escape
As it’s inherited by passing generations

Yeah I want to thank my ancestors
For their/our fallibility
A simple explanation
For a history of hostility
And I want to thank
All the pusillanimous pricks
Who believe it’s messed up
But accept that’s how it is

COULD IT BE? ©

Now I believe in the bible
One hundred percent
And believe its stories to be true
Even if they are over exaggerated
To make reading much better for me and you

Though weather these stories
Are proof of a god
Or just failing realization
Of all of natures jobs

For today if the tides parted the sea
We would know it’s the earths gravity
However
Others will claim
That god works in different ways
But if were his children
Droughts, floods and earthquakes?

Could it be?
Were not at the top of his list?
Could it be?
Were beings to destroy thus evoking bliss?
Could it be?
Our god is an ancient legend covered in mist?
Could it be?
That god is a portrayal of our negative performance risk?
Like a president worrying about what his electors think
While he leads
Or a sportsman worry about what the coach thinks
While he is playing

Or could it be?
That god is an abstract
Something we cannot see
Like the basic physics law
We call entropy
Or maybe even the ticks of the clocks
To which we should pray
But we cannot conceive it
Is god hiding well away?

ALIENATION ©

I am moving through the gears of my life
Caught in between shifts
Levitated on a knife
My revs are low and I am needing a change
There’s only one problem
I cannot find my place

So many people
Show me the map of this life
But I am a different car
With my own gearbox inside
And the road to finding my place
Does not need your gears, shoved in my face

I am not all alone
And I want you to know
Alienations
The right way to go

Only time will tell

PRISONER OF REALITY ©

At this time
My pen hits this page
I stare at death
And laugh in its face

At this time I use this pen
Death I don’t fear, except when
I think of you two
Once I’ve left you behind
It’s the only reason
I remain in this life

Emptiness the core of my hole
Humans of weakness but god gave us a soul
So now I try to change my mood
Even try to go without food
But my mouth begins to get dry
And my stomach begins to ache inside
Then I feel the pain
I am not in control

I am a prisoner of reality
And I have got only five senses to see
My body craves for sleep
And if I go without
Such an impossible feat

I need the water that falls from the sky
I need the air when I sigh
I need the light on my skin
I need clothing to protect me from wind
I need my buddies to back me up
I need god to straighten me out

That’s why I am a prisoner of reality

ACTIONS TO FAITH ©

Awaken from the sleep
I can now feel the heat
But I am far from beat
So that is why I weep

A prisoner I am
Though I hold the key
And only my actions
Will set me free

Cause I do not want to burn like you
For a thousand dollar shoe
I do not want to look away
My hope will not fray
And every time I feel the test
My mind may become a mess
But I know it’s for the best

Entropy my matrix fate
So now I put faith in any date
To bind in glory with my God
And burn the dogs

However,
My life is still incomplete
For there is one more important feat
For any lost who lack this
Faith in Christ, salvations bliss!
TEMPTATIONS DREAM ©

We have got
Emotionless drones
Trained to be victims
Judges with minds
Like cartoon fiction

Politicians with their legislation
For themselves like masturbation
Australian citizens know some things is wrong
No prime minister last very long

Allowing our children
To be fed duplicity in school
A society of greed
But hey that’s cool

Assimilate not understand
Trying to tell us their way is grand
Temptations their quest
Satisfactions a mess
But the church has blessed

So sleep in the nightmare
Constantly feel pain
While saying to yourself
‘Here we go again’

Quest for status perfection
Illusions you behold
I was almost sucked in
But my searched never dulled
Thus my faith will not fold

REAL EDUCATION ©

‘Now I do not know what stopped Jesus Christ
From turning every hungry stone into bread
And I don’t remember
What reasons stop God
From curing disease, famine and death
And I would not have a clue
Why so many peoples prays
Go unheard every day,
So now I will arrogantly assume
God is not real today’

These were the words spoken
By his uneducated blinds
Tragically limited to his senses
Making truth hard to find

A child a heart
A captain at mind

Turning to science
Were answers are defined
He soon came to realise
There is no blood and bone
Just a computer and a drone
Whose heart sleeps alone

Sifting through the facts
Seeing that we are trapped
Prisoners of this world
Our restrictions slow time down
But soon some will be freed
Yes
Keep away from greed
Judgment day comes round

SLOWING HISTORY ©

A history of insanity
With a present claiming sane
But with the education you get today
They dismiss past beliefs
‘They are all in vein’
Hiding behind their intellect
Living in the perfect world
Covered in mud
A history of blood

Always a dominant machine
Creating wars the world had never seen
It all started like Rome
An original machine
Conquer, enslave
Controlling their dream
Though back in those days
Illusions were not strong
So Rome continued
Calm like a bomb

MORTALS ROLE ©

Statue status that you claim
Beating the tax man, all a game

Status quo, tug of war
Take what’s theirs
Protect what’s yours

Minimum wages
Minimum work
Verse privatised profit and political jerks

Positives and negatives
Mortal combats role
Our stupid status quo
The reason we grow old
WHAT MATTERS? ©

Freedom without law
Is simple anarchy
Mr Buddha on the floor
There’s something you can’t see

You sit in your room
Meditate ‘n’ levitate
To try ‘n’ bend the spoon
Then a man walks in - with a gun
Shoots your spirituality - calls it dumb
Leaving you wondering
Where’s my freedom?

Cause freedom for one
Is anarchy
But freedom for all
Requires some law
Eastern religions
Philosophical flaws
Lack the core
Of harmonious walls
That keeps us linked ‘n’ living together
Rather than farther from what matters

But sure it may seem true
But dose it provide happiness
For me
And especially you?

HELLS EARTHLY EVOLUTION ©

Stock in shares
And credit cards
These the things
We must discard
Pay your part
Fight the wind
The reign of the wicked
It will soon end

So pay your debts
And be aware
The new world order
Is nothing to fear
Because the rapture factor
Will come in a trance
And take you away
Within a glance
People screaming
Aliens have come
The new plus and minus
Of Armageddon begun

Karma now here
Cynics now right
Cause there is nothing to stop
Mans Godly plight
To run the site
Which he dwells
Without the Lord
It’s only hell

KNOW-LEADS, GEE? ©

Personal Beliefs and judgments
Opinions in our minds
So lets start with nothing
And continue with the rhyme

Clearing out the sentiment theories
Abstract words with your meanings
Or the dictionaries readings
A book that you believe in

Freedom, love, time ‘n’ law
Hypocrisy, hate ‘n’ abstract thoughts
Propaganda, souls ‘n’ eternal life
Contradictions require thinking twice
And when you fail
To clean the slate
Start from scratch, and propagate
You’re cynical, pessimistic
Seeing truth ‘n’ lies all twisted

Cause our minds are like a bush
Its tracks lead to what we know
And the more you walk on them
The more you’ll grow
But if your trees lack the right fruits
No matter how nice the tracks are
You are going to lose
So clear the bush
And plant from scratch
With out ignorance
Your tracks will soon match
And the these trees that truly know, lead, gee…
See?
From God they be
So let Jesus into thee
Guide your way
Plant the trees
And you will see
Just like me
Victory’s here!
